Due to concrete batching plant has high level of mechanization and high degree of automation and high productivity, so concrete batching plant is often used in highway pavement, bridge construction, large and medium-sized water conservancy and electric power engineerings, building operations and concrete prefabricated plants which has large engineering quantity, long construction period and centralized construction.As for the types of concrete plants, concrete mixing plant can be devided into single step type concrete mixing plant and double step type concrete mixing plant according to the technological arrangement.
For single step type concrete mixing plant, breakstones, sand, cement and other raw materials are promoted to the top storage bin hopper of concrete batching plant at a time. Then batch and weigh materials, until mix the materials to concrete. All these procedures form vertical production process system with the aid of material weight. This kind of concrete batching plant is featured by high productivity, low power consumption, high level of mechanization and high degree of automation, compact structure and low floor area. But the single step type concrete mixing plant is more complex and the investment is big. So it is always used as large-scale permanent concrete batching plant.As for double step type concrete batching plant, breakstones, sand, cement and other raw materials are promoted to the storage bin hopper and concrete mixer at twice. It has simple structure and low investment. But the degree of mechanization and automation are low and consumes more power. So it is usually used in middle and small concrete batching plants.
